We are currently offering a handful of scholarships for individuals interested in attending camp who don't have the financial resources to do so. We have set aside the first $1500 toward this scholarship fund for the 2013 camps, and we will take contributions until December 31, 2012 from those interested in underwriting this fund. It is our intention to continue this program beyond 2013, and any contributions we receive after Dec. 31, 2012 will go toward the funding for 2014 scholarships.
We will take applications from January 1, 2013 until the end of February, and then announce the scholarship recipients sometime in early March. Please click the following link to download the scholarship application:

We are excited to announce that we have secured enough funding to offer 2 full scholarships, one for each session in 2013. Each of these scholarships will include all camp entry fees as well as all travel expenses to and from Juneau (up to $850). In addition to these two scholarships we have a limited amount of extra funding which we will offer as partial scholarships to those not selected for one of the full scholarships. Any of this funding which is not accepted would carry over into funding for scholarships in 2014.
The success of this program depends largely on individual donors. That is, runners who are interested in helping fellow runners partake in something which they might otherwise never consider a possibility. In doing so you will be helping us broaden the sport of trail running to a more diverse and unique crowd. Something which we think will be a benefit to every trail runner. Any amount will be helpful toward realizing this goal. We have finalized our funding for 2013, but we continue to take donations which will go toward the 2014 scholarships.
